‘Humbolt Broncos’ 5 Years Later: “We Will Never Forget”

It was 5 years ago today that 16 young men lost their lives in a bus accident along with several staff members of the “Humbolt Broncos” Hockey Team from Humbolt, Saskatchewan.

Hockey Ministry International (HMI) was very involved in ministering to the families and friends of those who lost their lives in the tragic accident 5 years ago.

“5 years ago today, was the day of the tragic accident that resulted in the loss of 16 players and staff of the Humboldt Broncos. Please keep those families in your prayers today. Here was HMI Chaplain a year after, Sean Brandow reflecting on the tragedy: Click here to listen and watch his sermon.

Following the tragic event folks worldwide left hockey sticks outside their doors in honor of the players who lost their lives.

Prayers went out worldwide and multiple fundraisers to help the families of those who lost their sons.
