Last Saturday night at midnight things went all out crazy outside Sidney, MT. Certain areas were hit (with what we believe was a ‘mini tornado’).
A young mother reported that while she was up late in the evening tending to her baby the house began to shake as she heard the intense wind outside. As the event only lasted about 10 minutes she didn’t think too much about it and went to sleep.
The next morning as she and her husband were looking out the window they noticed that the trampoline (minus the metal frame) was GONE. Upon further observance, the couple realized the ‘pack and play’ which was filled with a sandbag and toys had completely disappeared as well! The sandbags due to weight didn’t escape over the fence and toys flew many acres. Below you can see the frame of the trampoline held down by sandbags but the rest is gone.
After some investigating the couple realized that most of the trampoline and the entire pack and play had flown over the fence and several acres away other yard items were scattered.
The chicken coop was flattened as well.
She stated,
“It lifted up and destroyed that chicken coop; luckily no chickens were in there.”
She reported that damage had occurred in her garden as well.
Pea-sized hail had fallen as well along with the intense wind and the couple described the event as a “mini tornado”. Mom described it further as follows,
“Some thunder- no lightning. Rain, small hail, terrible wind, then nothing.”
They then realized how fortunate they were that their home had been spared.
