Tony Brockman and Courtenay Sprunger voted against a ‘Special Session’ intended to return your hard-earned cash to you! The proof is in the chart below.

Friends, it wasn’t that long ago that Brockman and Sprunger voted against the request for a ‘Special Session’.

What exactly would this ‘Special Session’ have accomplished had it passed? (Take a read below to find out the answers)

Make note of the fact that (number 1.) states “1. Return Surplus Tax Revenue”

Why then would Brockman and Sprunger vote AGAINST this ‘Special Session’ aimed at returning your hard earned tax dollars to you?

Furthermore, these two candidates were the ONLY candidates in all of Flathead County to vote against the ‘Special Session’ to return your money! (This is beyond infuriating as NOW they are trying to promote Tax Reform” to gain votes!)

How can we ever trust these two?

Tony Brockman’s website states the following concerning “Taxes”

“We need to reduce the tax burden and enact a fair and simple tax code promoting fiscal responsibility of taxpayers’ money.” Don’t kid yourself, Brockman voted against the session that would’ve given you your hard-earned money BACK. That is not being “fiscally responsible”.

Sprunger’s website stated the following concerning “Taxes”

“As a small business owner, I believe in smart investments that create a strong return and in maintaining a balanced budget. I will use my expertise to identify where taxes can be reduced or better invested. In particular, property tax reform must be a top priority when the Montana Legislature convenes in 2025.” (But she didn’t want a session that would RETURN your taxes to you and why would she want to invest using YOUR MONEY!?!)

Read what the Montana Freedom Caucus wanted to accomplish had the ‘Special Session’ taken place. (But thanks to legislators like Brockman and Sprunger this fell flat on its face and went nowhere).

In conclusion, all this double talk about taxes and tax reform is just that- TALK- who can trust candidates who don’t care to return your hard-earned money to you?
