It seems not everyone in Montana is thrilled with the candidate choices for Montana Attorney General as in (Austin Knudsen-R or Ben Alke-D).
In fact, more than one person wrote in Jesse Boyd for the position of Montana Attorney General in the state of Montana- (See below)
Voting for Austin Knudsen didn’t sit well with many Montanans, who watched Knudsen try to prosecute innocent missionaries to the highest degree, meaning 20 years in prison and a $50,000 fine. The four missionaries were deemed innocent (they were all along), and their cases were dropped and signed off by the Honorable Judge Luke Berger of Madison County.
Finally, at the last minute, Knudsen dropped the case, and the last missionary, Jesse Boyd, was set free. Knudsen wanted to revisit the case after the election, but Montana protestors siding with Boyd wouldn’t have it. Not long ago, they protested in Helena in front of the Attorney General’s office (where multiple calls were also placed to the AG’s office).
Jesse Boyd will obviously never be voted in as the Attorney General for the State of Montana, but we surely wish he could be.
