Both Juras and Gianforte have their heads in the sand in so many different areas. The term lackadaisical comes to mind.
Montana has been inundated for at least four years with Illegal Aliens/Immigrants, but when a highly concerned and highly knowledgeable Montana resident asked Juras two years ago what she planned to do about these Illegals her response was,
“There are no Illegal Immigrants in Montana.”
Say WHAT?
Folks, this is naivety at its finest. Both Juras and Gianforte should be ON THEIR GAME when it comes to Illegal Immigrants and so much more.
For example, Gianforte was completely mortified and up in arms over the 5 illegals (a family) who flew in from Venezuela last fall to Kalispell and alarm bells were going off EVERYWHERE throughout the state. Gianforte like Governor Abbott of Texas and Governor DeSantis of Florida had the power to sign documents to KEEP these Illegal Aliens/Immigrants from entering Montana even during the Biden administration!
However, do you think the Governor of Montana would even attempt such measures? Nope. All hype no action.
Instead, Gianforte gets on all over Montana media freaking out about the situation. (There is so much Montana1stNews knows about that particular family of 5 illegals, but that story is set aside for another upcoming article so stay tuned).
The point is this. Shouldn’t our heads of state stop putting their heads in the sand when it comes to such things? Governor Gianforte completely ignored when 5 missionaries were assaulted and wrongly persecuted and he was specifically asked to help him. He turned away pro-life advocates at the Capitol and (“wouldn’t see them”) a few years back when they came to speak with him as he touts himself to be such a pro-life hero.

Concisely stated, he can’t stand any kind of confrontation. Juras right behind him wants to believe things aren’t happening which really are.
Many Montanans are fed up. And that’s why someone with guts like Tanner Smith ran against Gianforte.
We are tired of looking on Facebook and seeing what bicycling trip the Governor and his wife took and how he sauteed his elk steak and whether or not he chose to eat wild rice or rice pilaf. WHO CARES! He needs to run the state and do so with grit!
He is also responsible (don’t kid yourself as he had the Counties sued to raise your (and my) property taxes! And then later touts himself as the hero when he wanted to send you a rebate! (Which of course came out of some other fund altogether). Maybe he shouldn’t have overcharged us in the first place.
Stay on your toes Montana. And you can call these two all you want. But a better method would be to protest in front of the Capitol with the facts on huge signs.
Hold these two and others in charge of our Montana home accountable for their abdication. They often don’t want to acknowledge the reality of situations that are pressing.
