A thoroughly mortified and offended mother and public-school teacher (Ms. Castruita) whose parenting rights were violated has spoken out and boldly exclaims,
“I am appalled that FHS (Flathead High School) has not upheld the laws of the State of Montana.”
She goes on to state that many have “failed her daughter” in the system (FHS) and “broken the Montana State Law” a new law which was recently implemented (see below) in May of 2023. Furthermore, Flathead High School never reached out to Ms. Castruita to inform her that her daughter was using male pronouns at school, and they did not have permission (per Montana State Constitution) to refer to her daughter as anything other than her pronouns that align with her sex at birth. Additionally, mail was sent to the Castruita home using a name that Ms. Castruita was unaware that teachers were using to refer to her daughter.
You will absolutely be disgusted and appalled when you see the videos below- the first is a clip (an excerpt) of the mother speaking to the trustees and addressing these disturbing issues at a recent school board/trustee meeting on April 8th in Kalispell. The second video is the complete (recent April 8th) Flathead High School board/trustee meeting comprised of Kalispell School District 5 Board of Trustees.
Moreover, she stated,
“District Administrators and Members of the Board, I am deeply disappointed that not one of you reached out to me about this.”
Below you can view the entire Kalispell School Trustee meeting which took place on April 8th. Pay close attention where she shares (the Trustees) “Giggle after all the public comments around the 36:43-time stamp and again where they mock me at 41:41 with regard to microphone operation.”
Ms. Castruita mentioned how disrespectful and unprofessional this Board of Trustees is. Further below you can read her written speech which she presented on April 8th to the Trustees.
Ms. Castruita urges the community to think about these laws that are being broken before filling out their levy ballots.
“It is disgusting that KPS is begging/bullying the community to pass a levy when they clearly think abiding by the laws of this great state is optional. Do you want your children educated by people that think they are above the law?”
Parents need to be completely aware of the types of devastating behavior that Kalispell Public School District 5 is involved in.
