Jordan Hall Convicted Felon (Former Pastor/Montana Daily Gazette Publisher/Owner)

Date:

On Wednesday afternoon in Richland County District Court in Sidney, Montana, former pastor and publisher/owner of Montana Daily Gazette (Jordan Hall present via Zoom) was convicted of a felony wherein he stole funds “Theft by embezzlement exceeding $10,000” from Fellowship Baptist Church in Sidney, Montana.

Hall was required to pay just over $15,000 in restitution to the church, which he had done before the court hearing. Hall is also to serve a deferred sentence of three years, where he was urged by the court to do “what is right,” and if he doesn’t, there could be dire consequences. The court also revealed that they felt the former pastor/news service publisher was not a high-risk candidate, wherein illegal matters would likely occur again.
