Great Falls Library Levy June 6 Election-VOTE NO!

Date:

On June 6th in Great Falls, MT, voting will take place trying to secure an ongoing monetary Levy for the Great Falls Library. The answer is to VOTE NO.

What exactly is a ‘ongoing’ levy? It is precisely that. It is a levy in which it takes the taxpayers money every year and never ceases! (Below are some facts)

  1. If passed the Library Levy will increase annual taxes on homes valued at $200,000 by approximately $40.50.
  2. If passed the Library Levy would increase to nearly TWICE the current budget!
  3. If passed the Library Levy will never go away.

If the Library Levy DOES NOT PASS the Library will not close.

And most importantly “Do we want to vote this levy in to greatly expand the Great Falls Public Library services and personnel, while we are dealing with record inflation in our communities?”
