Kalispell MT: Massive Grizzly Stops Traffic/Lockdown Elementary School

This morning in a large field across from Woody’s store in Kalispell a massive grizzly was spotted.

There was also word that a school not far from the area was under lockdown due to possibly this same grizzly.

Flathead County residents snapped fast photos as they drove past the area as seen below.

As you can see in the last picture with text, the local sheriff’s department asked that folks not stop to see bears or block areas off. (However, it doesn’t seem realistic that people will do so due to the shock of seeing such a wild creature close up). There was also talk of sedating the creature and moving it elsewhere.
