JUSTICE IN THE FLATHEAD: “Revoke Flathead Warming Center’s Conditional Use Permit” (Upcoming Meeting Information)

Date:

Things are getting serious folks and it’s about time. It’s time that community members take serious action concerning the Flathead Warming Center and do all they can to get it shut down.

The crime inside and surrounding the Flathead Warming Center has been out of control for quite some time. A huge uptick in crime in Kalispell has been due to the Center and the influx of transients etc. that have come to Flathead County as a result of the Center.

The letter below could not be any clearer and shares the truth concerning what the workers state about the Flathead Warming Center and especially their seeming ‘naivety’ concerning the crime, inappropriate activity, loitering in the area, and so on. Vandalism, burglary, trespassing, assault, incidences involving weapons, and illegal drug use have skyrocketed in the vicinity since the Flathead Warming Center moved into the Flathead Valley.

Read below to see that “Statements by the Warming Center’s administration are not true.”

Please come and let your voices be heard at the upcoming Kalispell City Work Session concerning the Conditional Use Permit and ask that it be PULLED.

The meeting will take place at Kalispell City Hall, (201 1st Ave E, Kalispell, MT) on May 13th, at 7 pm. If you are unable to attend the meeting please email the entire council at  publiccomment@kalispell.com. with your complaints and concerns involving the Flathead Warming Center.

No more of this. NO. It needs to STOP.
