It’s summer folks and the grocery store lines are getting long in Northwest MT. (Ok I know it’s not officially summer but it is because kids are out of school and that’s the real definition of summer).

Anyway a Whitefish resident overheard a conversation in the Safeway store (in Whitefish and she was blown away).

Here was the gist of the statement (and they weren’t joking).

“There should be a separate checkout line for Iron Horse members here.”

For those of you who don’t know what Iron Horse is-it’s a massive housing development for the super wealthy at the base of ‘Whitefish Mountain Resort’ (a ski resort in Whitefish MT).

“As the saying goes the billionaires moved to Whitefish and the millionaires who once lived there moved to Eureka!”
