(You can read a bit of Sid Daoud’s bio below)
“Hi all – I just submitted my declaration of nomination to the Flathead County Election department. As a true believer in our community, there would be no greater honor than serving you as the next Mayor of Kalispell.
I was born and raised in Great Falls, spent the next decade + in the U.S. Army as a non-commissioned officer. In 1990 I married my high school sweetheart KristenMarie and have three wonderful children with her, all grown now. I became active in politics in 2015 and spent a decade as the chair of the Montana Libertarian Party. I moved to the Flathead in 2008 and fell in love with this corner of Montana. This past December I stepped down from that role to concentrate on my non-partisan role as a Kalispell City councilman. I am currently serving my second term on council for Ward 4 here in Kalispell.”
