MONTANANS! Email PSC to “Dismiss Petition” RE: Adverse Climate Impacts of Greenhouse Gas Emissions

Date:

Please take 2 minutes to send an email to the PSC this weekend.

Even if you have already sent emails recently, we ask that you send another.  (If you have never sent an email to elected officials…here is your chance!) 😃

Commissioner Bukacek has requested a Notice of Action (NCA) for the Commissioners to vote to dismiss the MEIC Petition for Rulemaking (Adverse Climate Impacts of Greenhouse Gas Emissions).

The hearing will be held THIS Tuesday, May 28.  It is VITAL that you email the commission this weekend!  We need for the commission to receive emails asking them to “Vote Yes to Dismiss the Petition.”  PLEASE HELP US.

This couldn’t be easier.  Email all of the commissioners and the pschelp@ all in one email; just copy the email block below.  Add the Subject, and in the body of the email ask the commissioners to vote yes to stop/end/dismiss the petition.

To:

pschelp@mt.govpinocci@mt.govannie.bukacek@mt.govanthony.ODonnell@mt.govjames.brown@mt.gov, jfielder@mt.gov

Email Subject Line:

Docket 2024.03.028 – NCA Dismissal – Please vote Yes to Dismiss

Body Examples (choose one):

Dear Commissioners, Please vote Yes to stop the petition.

Dear Commissioners, Please vote Yes to end the petition.

Dear Commissioners, Please vote Yes to dismiss the petition.

*Feel free to add more if you want to, but we advise that you keep your email short and encouraging.

For further information, please see the attached NCA to Dismiss.  It is short, and you’ll see highlighted sections that will help you to understand what the Notice to Dismiss is all about.

Thank you!
