URGENT CALL TO ACTION!
Kathy Eckles Love (House Rep. of District 85 of Hamilton) wrote and sponsored House Bill 709 while Lukas Schubert House Rep. District 8 from Kalispell, co-sponsored it. The Bill is entitled “Create the Crime of Human Smuggling”.
Friends this is why we are in so much trouble here in Montana. The fact is 10 Republicans joined with the Democrats to vote against a bill which would make it illegal to bring in, harbor, aid and abet illegal aliens into the state of Montana.
We are requesting your attention to an important matter that affects us all in Montana. Unfortunately, today, (March 6th) HB 709, which would have criminalized the actions of bringing in, harboring, and aiding and abetting illegal aliens into the State of Montana, failed to pass. We are asking you to reach out to the following representatives to respectfully urge them to reconsider and vote to move this much needed legislation forward. This isn’t California. And furthermore, we know from calls into Law Enforcement in Flathead County that a high quantity of domestic abuse reports involves illegal aliens and especially west of Kalispell. There are numerous obvious reasons we need this Bill to pass.
