19 out of 20 Montanan’s are thoroughly disgusted by even the thought of Artificial Intelligence Data Centers cropping up in our beautiful state. Entire groups are popping up everywhere in hopes of thwarting these ridiculous and dangerous structures including “Montanans Against AI Data Centers” for one.
However contrary to what Montanans want (or need) a pro-AI Pac entitled “Leading the Future” is pouring out big bucks in hopes of getting candidates like Aaron Flint to win (or so they think).
The real crux of the matter though is that the majority of people in our great state are adamantly opposed to these water-sucking, energy cost skyrocketing, pollution creating centers. Most people in Montana will not fall for these monstrosities and it will backfire on the candidate who favors these.
The article states the following,
“Leading the Future, a pro-AI group backed by industry executives with a sizable war chest, is pledging to spend $1.5 million supporting Jim Kingston in Georgia’s 1st Congressional District, Aaron Flint in Montana’s 1st Congressional District and Chris McGowan in Iowa’s 4th Congressional District.
The GOP-held districts are reliably Republican, but all three candidates face primary challengers where an outside spending group’s contributions could prove decisive. President Donald Trump has endorsed Flint and McGowan, but has yet to weigh in on the Georgia seat vacated by Rep. Buddy Carter, R-Ga., who is running for Senate.”
See that sentence?
“All three candidates face primary challengers where outside spending group’s contributions could prove decisive.” Well, think again because you’re talking about blood and guts, tough fighting Montanan’s and they (at least most) don’t want these nasty centers. Period.
Now pay close attention to this next paragraph.
“The super PAC network’s new round of spending comes after it claimed victories in North Carolina, Texas and Illinois, where it poured money into key primaries to elect candidates in both parties who oppose a patchwork of state AI regulations and are more supportive of the industry.”
Do you see what’s happening in that statement? These candidates such as Flint will oppose a “patchwork of state AI regulations and are more supportive of the industry”. That means it’s not good enough to just have a few of these grotesque Data Centers hence “patchwork” placed just here and there in our state “and are more supportive of the industry” means BIG INDUSTRY (federally regulated industry) see the next paragraph.
“Our recent success across other primaries has allowed us to expand our footprint and continue supporting pro-innovation candidates who understand the need for a national regulatory framework on AI,” Zac Moffatt, Leading the Future co-strategist, told Fox News Digital in a statement. “We believe the candidates we’re backing will help deliver real results for a stronger, more prosperous future.”
Read that paragraph again.
“Expand our footprint and continue supporting pro-innovation candidates who understand the need for a NATIONAL REGULATORY framework on AI”. That means these AI Centers will be run by BIG GOVERNMENT and big brother. That’s right friends so much for limited government, these AI Data Centers will be run by a national regulatory framework. In other words, one big machine. It continues to say, “We believe the candidates we’re backing will help deliver real results for a stronger, more prosperous future.”
Prosperous for WHO? Certainly not the average Montanan because these Artificial Intelligence Data Centers will cause average Montanans to lose their jobs. The ones who make money is big government and the ones investing in these centers such as venture capitalists.
