To “trump” someone means in essence to “triumph over them or win a great victory” which is a definition from as far back as the 1600’s.
And to that end that is exactly what Dr. Olszewksi did in his closing statement at the FVCC GOP Forum which took place on May 4 in Kalispell. (see video clip below)
Dr. Olszewski gave his reasoning on why he opposes the CSKT Water “Compact” (which isn’t really a Compact at all but rather a federal law). Olszewski’s goal is to “Reclaim the waters of western Montana for all the people of Montana as it’s in our US Constitution” (for which he earned glorious well-deserved applause by the audience).
He continued, “It’s a federal law because it takes a water right from western Montana without renumeration.” To learn more please watch the video below. Of special note he reveals at the end, “I will make sure that we do not allow 36,888 acres of federal land to be given to a third party that will not allow you and I to hunt, fish, trap, or recreate on that land.”
Doctor Olszewski is not only “The Water Hero” but Montanans’ public land hero as well as he “aims to claim’, those lands he spoke of for “We the People.”
Then it was Flint’s turn to talk. His statement concerning Glacier National Park and “restricting our access to our public lands” is a complete joke compared to Olszewski’s accomplishments. What restrictions is he referring to? The fact that folks have to have a ticket to get in and that some places are closed entry? Or maybe he means that they want to impose a fee to raft? And just how exactly did he “fight” this? By talking on his radio show? He’s not an elected official who can do anything but talk about things. Furthermore, he continued by bragging, “I’m glad that when the Flathead Lake levels were dropped dangerously low, denying our irrigators of water, I’m glad that people like me spoke up; there’s other folks up on the stage right now that we haven’t heard anything from in the last four years.”
Now just hold on a minute there cowboy. Tell us you didn’t really just say that.
At that point the audience snickered in disbelief while the good doctor just stood there and grinned. How on earth would Aaron Flint have the AUDACITY to say that “Others folks up on the stage right now we haven’t heard anything from in four years.”
Surely you jest, Flint.
You’re wrong again as Dr. Olszewski has spent over the last 10 years AND countless hours helping countless irrigators fight this madness and has spoken at public hearings and guided and counseled hundreds of Montana citizens who’ve been ripped off by the CSKT Water debacle for over a decade.
This proves yet once again that Aaron Flint has no clue what he’s talking about and cannot stand when someone knows more than him, (which isn’t difficult to do). Watch below as he embarrasses himself and flounders and where the audience snickers at his folly.
