Kalispell MT: Costa Vida Restaurant Closes its Doors- (No Housing for Employees)

Yes, it’s true and folks in Flathead County are ‘bummed out.’

Costa Vida was definitely one of the better ‘quick to serve’ kinds of foods. (It wasn’t even truly fast food because it was all prepared on-site and delicious and fresh). What a shame to see this restaurant close its doors.

Some thought perhaps the issue was supply problems, the rising cost of such supplies, or a lack of workers when in fact none of these seem to be the case. A former owner (in hopes of setting the record straight) had this to say,

Solution: Here’s a tip for a possible solution to the problem at hand. Hire HIGHSCHOOL STUDENTS and YOUNG ADULTS who are still living at home. And yes many are still willing to work (and especially home-schooled students) And the beauty of hiring home-schooled students is that often if one or two are hired their friends and family will follow. When a restaurant has a good reputation often home-schooling families will want to work for them.
