We know you’ve all been waiting with bated breath to view some clips from the GOP Forum that took place at Flathead Valley Community College on Monday, May 4th and the time has come to share those clips.
We will start with the footage where Dr. Al Olszewski shared his stance on the “federal abortion ban” question. Please watch the clip below and you will see for yourself that Olszewski is strong, unwavering, and resolute in his convictions on this most important subject.
Next read the following paragraph where “Team Olszewski” gives an analysis of Flint’s answer to the basic question posed to him by the moderator.
“In this revealing clip, Aaron Flint is directly asked: “The overturning of Roe v. Wade has led to a flurry of state referendums and legislation on abortion. Do you support a federal abortion ban?”
“Instead of giving a clear yes or no, Flint talks around the issue, pivots to vague pro-life rhetoric without committing to a position on a national ban. Watch as a supposed straight-talking conservative refuses to answer a straightforward policy question that voters deserve clarity on. Is he moderating his position for a general election? Worried about alienating moderates? Or just another politician who avoids tough answers when it counts? This moment raises serious questions about whether Aaron Flint will actually fight for strong pro-life policies in Congress or fold under pressure like so many others. Montana voters should demand straight answers, not word salads.”
Watch as Flint states he is pro-life and supports pro-life centers then darts over to 9-11, Charlie Kirk, marriage, and ends up at affordable housing for young people. What on earth does that have to do with a federal abortion ban? Just answer the question, Aaron.
Additionally, the Daily Interlake stated the following, “Flint voiced support for a federal ban on abortion,“ -(Hailey Smalley Daily Interlake) which is boldly incorrect. Click here to read the DIL report on the forum. Again, not once did Flint state he wanted a federal abortion ban. Watch Flint below and see for yourself.
Time and time again we’ve witnessed Flint dart around questions and not give direct answers. The public deserves better.
