Flathead County: Chief of Police and School Superintendent Both Resign Recently (But Why?)

Date:

We can’t quite put our finger on it but we do find it odd that Chief of Police Doug Overman and Kalispell Superintendent School District 5 (Micah Hill) have both resigned very recently.

We do know that Superintendent Micah Hill was interviewed and ‘took’ another job/position as “Superintendent” in Missoula Mt. and that (we believe) he will receive a pay raise of over $20,000 more than his Superintendent position in Flathead County.

We also know that Hill leaves in the midst of an investigation conducted on Glacier High School’s Wrestling team and coaches. Hill has a habit of “shoving important matters under the rug” to which many people are appalled including other news sources.

(To expound read below)

“Micah Hill was Vice Principal in 2011 when an athlete was sodomized on the football bus. Three years ago a wrestler was assaulted; the mother reported it to then “Principal Micah Hill” who swept it under the rug.”

During the current situation (involving wrestlers) Micah Hill blocked e-mail communication through School District 5 to the board of trustees only allowing subject lines to get through. He has tried to minimize the assaults in every way possible. He won’t let any SD5 employee talk and no employee has yet to be held accountable for negligence and retaliation actions by SD5 representatives.

But what about Chief of Police Doug Overman? Well the soon to be ‘former Chief of Police’ for Flathead County is very good (if not best friends) with Micah Hill.

Many folks do not think the desire to “relocate and retire” is just a coincidence concerning these two men but comes in the wake of some very rogue and very serious matters concerning the atrocious assault/assaults which took place at the hands of Glacier High School’s wrestling team.

You can read the entire article here which exposes Micah Hill.
