President of Young Republicans Lewis and Clark County, Jake Corcoran submitted the following information and document to Montana1stNews.

“Our organization stands with the Lewis and Clark County Republican Central Committee in its censure of Montana House of Representatives House District 82 Candidate Alden Tonkay. Ethics violations and patterns of dishonesty should not and will not be tolerated in Lewis and Clark County. Tonkay’s attempt to pay vendors with bad checks, and misreporting a considerable amount of campaign funds landed him in this position.

It wasn’t until the media applied pressure that he finally made good on the debts.”
